The boy's school had a butterfly project that was very cool and I was jealous that I didn't get to watch them emerge from the cocoons, so I asked the teacher where they found them. She gave me the website and I ordered our own plus "Ladybug Land." It is really cool to watch and there is really nothing much involved to set it up or take care of them. They come with live caterpillars and ladybug larvae. Right now our butterflies are forming in their chrysalises and the ladybugs are in the pupa stage. The company has all different "live" projects you can order. Here's the website if anyone is interested: www.insectlore.com

That looks so fun, I may have to try it out. Lord knows we need some more animals/critters around here. But I heard the ladybugs are good for your garden so that might be a good one for us :)
