School Holiday Celebrations

This past week the big boys had their Winter Show and Dominic had Winter Cheer.  They all did a great job although Dominic decided he didn't want to sing with his class which worked out okay because we could focus our attention on the crowd....specifically the Chinese crowd which (sorry Nugget) was more entertaining than the singing as you'll see from photos below.  The big boys' show had an airport theme and it was very cute, and well put together as usual.  It's funny because the boys get so much more nervous about it now that they are older.  I think they'd opt out given the choice, but they aren't given a choice and it's a good experience for them.

                                                    Decorating cookies at Winter Cheer

A little heavy on the embellishments

These next pictures are dedicated to the Chinese half of the crowd, aka the Paparazzi.  Not sure if anyone can understand crowd/mob mentality here without living it, but if you have you'll totally understand.

The recent Apple improvement of an iPad camera added a whole new dimension to their photo obsession.

FINALLY had Jack lined up in my small, normal sized camera lens and UP goes the iPad.  Can you find him on the dude's screen?  Oh, wait he's under his thumb.  Nice shot of his legs though.

I think the little people's (Kindergarten) crowd was even more unruly.  And this was after the principal pleaded with them to stay seated for the performance.

My personal favorite of the morning....apparently the woman in gray's kid scored a goal during Jingle Bells.
