Sanya, China 2012

The boys had two days off over Thanksgiving this year (last year no such luck), so we decided to make a mini-vacation out of it and fly to what is hailed as "The Hawaii of China."  It truly did look and feel like Hawaii and it was a great little getaway from the pollution and cold temperatures of Beijing.  It was about a 3.5 hour flight south where the city of Sanya is located on the island of Hainan.  I didn't realize how far south we were until I looked at the map and saw that the island is southeast of Hanoi, Vietnam.  We had a great time and would definitely go back in the future for a long weekend.

First stop after breakfast....the hotel playground

Truly a beautiful resort and gorgeous area of China

I have a photo like this of Kenny, but he won't let me post it for some reason

Sand crown

Winner, winner chicken dinner....literally.  Luc won the kids division of the hotel swimming race and won us a free dinner at the hotel's beach BBQ.
