Ick on a stick

I sooo wanted to name this in honor of what we found out the long meat on a stick at the Beijing "snack street" was, but refrained. As promised we took my Mom and Dad there and found out some the long meat on a stick in this picture is donkey penis (dick on a stick....OK I didn't refrain).

I had myself all psyched up to try scorpion (you only live once) and then right before I picked out my treat Kenny said, "I've heard the oil they fry it in is really nasty." Why the nasty oil would deter me from eating scorpion is beyond me. Maybe I was looking for an easy out, but really all I could think about was the dirty oil. I also couldn't get over the fact that there wasn't one Chinese person eating this stuff, so maybe they know something we don't. Again I walked away without trying something.
