Whew - last slide show

The afternoon of our last day we went to the Summer Palace or Norbulingka. This was a much more personal residence and the current Dalai Lama's radios and beds were still in the palace. After our guide dropped us off at our hotel, we decided to walk through the old town, specifically the Muslim section. There is a small Tibetan Muslim population (approx. 3,000 out of a population of roughly 500,000 people) and one mosque.
Two more things I thought of that I didn't want to forget about trip were:
1) I just couldn't get over how blue the skies were and how clean the air was (except for all the incense). I dreaded coming back to Beijing's polluted air.
2) What the title of our trip should be....after the Tibetans looked our boys over thoroughly more than one of them would point to Kenny and say to our guide, "He makes them all the same." Oh, if they only knew Jack.
