Yes, the shopping was as good as I had anticipated

Not sure yet how we're going to get everything in our suitcases.

I know why Americans are so overweight (and they definitely are....I would run into 5-7 obese people using the electric carts every time I went to Walmart. I don't even know if I've ever seen anyone use one in Europe). Every trip to the grocery store we'd come home with more junk food that we'd forgotten even existed.
And here was my favorite purchase and bribe from Kenny to get me back on a plane for 13 hours leaving all this shopping behind. It was funny because the whole mall seemed pretty dead the day we were there, but the Apple store was where the party was goin' on. It was packed, like take a number packed.

Other than shopping we spent a big chunk of our time visiting American, highly skilled doctors, dentists, pharmacies and optometrists. Poor Luc had 10 cavities and Jack had four. We're heading out with a fluoride prescription for all three boys because I'm guessing China will be like Germany where the water doesn't have fluoride. Kenny and I had our "man we've hit middle age" appointments and he's leaving with a prescription for cholesterol medication and I'm leaving with bifocals. Oh yeah, and Jack is leaving with more bumps and bruises.

This post just made me smile, Jack seems like he lives life to the full and siezses the moment when it presents itself. Sounds like you have been busy.
