Our next door neighbors have a Bernese Mountain dog puppy that is the exact same age as Lola. They (meaning Lola, Betty Boop and Luc) have become quite the buds. Betty waits by the fence for Lola to make her morning appearance and then I lift Betty over the fence so they can wear each other out. She's getting almost too heavy for me to lift anymore, so we may have to dig a tunnel. When it's time for her to go home she won't come near me. Both of our neighbors work, so I think she gets pretty lonely. It's great having the two pups wear each other out, but they are making a mess of our yard. Sometimes when Betty needs to go home to eat or give Lola a break, Luc pulls his chair up to the fence and talks to her.

Sweetest thing ever! So fun for the puppies to have each other to play with...and Luc of course :)
