Putting up the tree

We got the tree up this weekend with lots of "help" from the boys. I was hoping to hang my breakable ornaments from our travels, but that was quickly put off until next year when I saw how intrigued the boys were by everything hanging on the tree. I thought we bought what were cheap, plastic round ornaments, but after Jack tried to bounce three of them we learned the messy way that they were glass. All of you with kids probably understand when I say we have a really nicely decorated tree from the middle up. I have to say that the ornaments have been my favorite purchases from all of our travels. It's so much fun once a year to pull them out and be reminded of our different trips. Oh yeah, don't bother trying to enlarge the picture of me and my hair...I got it fixed last week. The stylist said in her broken English, "I do not understand why the other technician did such a bad job with chunks colored here and there." I just kept my mouth shut. I am now more appreciative of the stylists here and probably everyone I go to back in the States is going to seem like Edward Scissorhands after my experiences here.

So cute. I love the black and white family picture you have on your blog. I totally need to get out the x-mas decor...maybe today since we are stuck at our house due to the snow. Crazy weather here...
