Camping On The Great Wall - June 2016

As a last hurrah before school ends, the movers come and it's time to say goodbye to living in China, we decided to hike and camp on the Great Wall. I was a bit worried about Dominic when our guide said we'd be hiking 11km which would take between 4-5 hours, but man, all three boys were troupers. I think the adults were more tired by the time it was time to hit our sleeping bags. The part of the Wall we hiked and camped on is called Gubeikou and is about a 2 hour drive outside of Beijing. Amazing blue skies and beautiful scenery.
