We just got back from three weeks in Colorado and we all couldn't have had a better time. We arrived on the 4th of July and spent most of our time in Sterling. Our friends from Beijing, the Gakstatters (now living in Kansas City), were kind enough to drive to Colorado to spend time with us at the end of our trip and we had a blast with them in Denver and a short trip into the mountains. The boys had never been to the mountains before and we've all decided we want to take more time to explore The Rockies on another trip. When I ask the boys about their favorite part of the vacation I get a myriad of answers....seeing family, seeing friends, Rockies game, the lake, the museum, Water World, the mountains, panning for gold, and fireworks.
