This year for Chinese New Year we decided to make the trek to Hawaii. It looks like it wouldn't be a long journey, and on the way there it wasn't bad, but coming back we had a strong headwind and it doubled the flight time. You pretty much have to go through Japan or Korea to get there, so we decided to spend a couple of nights in Tokyo since the boys hadn't been there. They had fun, but kept asking when we were going to leave for Hawaii. On top of it being an awesome beach vacation in the US, both sets of grandparents were meeting us there. Those are the makings of one great vacation and all I've heard about since we got back was when we were going again.
