We just got back from a beautiful day hiking around Mr. Mao's chestnut orchard (not that Mr. Mao) and had a great time. I love getting away from the city and the boys had fun doing what boys do while hiking.....swinging sticks, throwing rocks, falling in mud. Here are few pictures. You can click on any of them to enlarge. The parts of the Great Wall we saw were really beautiful in their unrestored state with trees and bushes covering the top.
