Lantern Festival

Today/tonight is the lantern festival which marks the end of the Chinese New Year festivities. Per Wikipedia "Lantern festival is a festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar year in the Chinese calendar, the last day of the lunisolar Chinese New Year." I guess there will be a lot more fireworks tonight, but we missed the big fireworks shows on New Year's Eve because we were in the Philippines. As you can see by the picture Kenny didn't miss out on buying fireworks though....about $150 worth. There are fireworks stands set up all around our area and we're not talking sparklers. Here are also a couple of pictures from Jack's lantern day parade this morning.
