On Monday Indy made the first of her upcoming long haul flights for our move. We decided to take advantage of the inmate dog training program at the correctional facility in Sterling. This helped us in two ways. 1) We will have a well trained dog and 2) flying with three little kids next month is going to be stressful enough, adding a puppy to the mix may have put me over the edge. I worried non-stop on the flight to Germany with Stella, so this way I only had to worry in the comfort of my own home on Monday and not when trying to fly 13 hours with three kids. She did great on the flight and has been terrorizing my parent's dog, Buzz, for the past few days. Next Wednesday she'll be officially "booked" into the program and we will pick her up when we fly through Colorado. The boys and I are missing her like crazy. Although the timing for getting a puppy wasn't great, (the breeders felt awful about all the problems Lola had and stood behind their health guarantee by giving us Indy) she has been a great addition to a household that feels empty without a dog.

Kerry,
This is my first post to your blog. I found it a long time ago on Dena's. I am hooked. I love reading about your kids, your travels and your life. I just sound so darn cool. I really hope you will be able to post from China, I love seeing all the picture of all the places you have visited. Your kids are adorable and your sence of humor (cheap whine) is beyond awaome. Once again, this weeks posts have been too funny...(grumble, grumble). Good luck in China. Did you ever go get a new BMW while living in Germany...i hope so... Amie
