Next year he'll probably hire a professional party planner

Today is Jack's birthday...

And yesterday was his birthday party...

And Saturday was the day before his birthday party...

And Thursday was October 1st which is the first day of his birthday month...

And Friday was the day his present came in the mail...

AND the day he made up a game called "guess my birthday present" where the rules where that he made one guess and then Mommy told him what his present was...

AND the day he "took one little peek" in a present one of his friends gave him and I guess in Jack's world that means ripping the paper off.

Jack's a little excited about this birthday. He made his current party planner (me) do three rewrites when making up the invitations and when his current party planner (me) took a break and came out of the office he asked why she wasn't still working on his party plans. Oh yeah, and he asked his current party planner (me) to pass on to all of you that he "definitely doesn't want any Barbies" as gifts. He thought it might be a good idea to add that reminder to the invitations with a later follow-up phone call and a face to face reminder for the girls in his class.
