Finally

Most of Luc's classmates have lost multiple teeth and he has had a loose one for quite awhile now. Tonight he came in crying saying Lola had knocked his tooth out. I was worried because he knocked both top teeth loose this weekend on a skateboard ramp and I thought maybe she finished the job, but it was finally one of the bottom ones. Unfortunately, while wrestling with Lola he lost it in the grass, so we had to write a note to the tooth fairy explaining why there wasn't a tooth under his pillow.

I'm thinking we may have a problem sooner rather than later with this kid and Santa, the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, etc. Last night at bedtime the-child-with-a-million-questions wanted to know, "how does the tooth fairy get in?" "how does she know I lost a tooth?" "where does she get her money?" "why does she take some kids teeth and leave others?" "how does she carry around all that money?" "does Papa Roger get money when he loses teeth....why not?" And the one that made me stutter a bit while coming up with an answer this morning, "Why did the tooth fairy give me American money? Doesn't she know we can't use that money here in Europe?" Guess I didn't think through the whole American silver dollar thing.

For any of you that read these posts from Facebook, the pictures are hit or miss if they show up. If you are interested in seeing the pictures you either have to click on "view original post" or go to my blog. I haven't figured out the glitch yet. Any suggestions?

Congratulations, Luc! Natalie is still waiting for that first tooth to fall out!
