Dominic Lowry Lousberg who made his appearance on March 30th (his due date) and weighed 8.2 lbs, and was 21.25 inches long. He was our biggest baby, and my hardest labor and delivery at 3 hours start to finish. The whole experience in a foreign hospital wasn't awful, but very different. I was very glad to be going home especially since if I had stayed longer I would have been getting a roommate in a room with no curtains to provide privacy between the beds! Also, I couldn't have taken another meal of three pieces of bread and cheese. I'm always starving after delivery and when I lifted the lid to find three pieces of bread I about cried. I buttered all four sides, used up all the jelly, Swiss cheese and cream cheese and was still hungry. Swedish in Seattle it wasn't. Dominic has been really sweet and easy and the boys are in heaven with Grandma (their personal playmate) here. I had some complications after the birth and haven't quite bounced back as fast as with the boys, so I don't know if I would have survived this first week without my Mom. Dominic hasn't slowed us down so far. In the last three days he's been on American soil (the Air Force base where he's learning to say "God Bless America"), two outdoor lunches, the grocery store, and a Harley show.
