Belfast was amazing. We drove north to see the Giant's Causeway which was incredible, but unfortunately we had nasty, rainy weather. Then we took a city tour that focused on the site where they built the Titanic and the protestant/Catholic areas of the Northern Ireland "Troubles." It was amazing to see the definite division between the two areas, which although they are no longer fighting, are still very divided. After our driver pointed out distinctions, you could definitely tell which area you were in. It's a misconception that the fighting is about religion. It's really a fight between those that want to stay part of England (protestants) and those that want to be independent like the rest of Ireland (Catholics).
