Another day, another ER visit. As our friend Christine put it, we need to see if they have a frequent visitor program or something. Luc and Jack were playing in the backyard and suddenly I heard a scream and crying. Every Mom knows the type of scream/cry that you can ignore and the type of scream/cry that makes you run. Well, I ran and there was Luc holding his chin with blood streaming through his fingers. After cleaning it I could tell the gash went through enough layers that it would need what I thought would be stitches. The whole way to the hospital I was prepping Luc for the little pinch of the anesthetic and 2-3 stitches. Man, was that ever a whole lot of build up for nothing (and am I ever grateful). I learned that unless it went all the way to the bone, they usually use glue on kids - what an improvement! They cleaned it, glued it and we were on our way back home in about 15 minutes.

Weren't you lucky! Time does improve a number of things and that certainly is one of them.
So sorry, Luc!
Boys are so accident prone, they just play hard!. Glad to hear that it was pretty non-tramatic.
awwww poor boy...it seems like this is the age they get "more" accident prone.
