First fillings

Last week when flossing Luc's teeth I noticed a big hole/cavity in one of his back teeth. I was horrified that I had missed this and got out a flashlight to inspect the rest of his mouth. I found what I thought were four cavities and promptly called the dentist. His appointment was today and it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was bad enough with two cavities, but I guess that's better than four. He was so unbelievably good and never flinched for the drilling or filling. I've never had deadening for fillings, so I guess he takes after me because she never gave him any option of pain control and he didn't even seem to notice the drilling. I'm just glad he had a good experience because all my childhood memories of the dentist were positive and I've never had any anxiety about the dentist (unless a needle is involved).
