We headed back to Siena in the daytime after my parents arrived. They had never been there and we all wanted to spend some more time there. We had an incredible lunch with some of the best risotto I've ever had. The chef served it himself scraping it out of a wheel of parmesan cheese and adding huge shavings of cheese on top. On the way back to the villa we stopped in the hilltop town of Monteriggione for a little wine tasting and views.
