Christmas Day

On Christmas Day we slept in as long as the boys would allow, found some more Transformers that Santa had left them, and then headed to San Gimignano. My French teacher had told me that San Gimignano was her favorite hill town in the area, and it didn't disappoint. Despite most stores being closed, we wandered around and discovered a cute town, gorgeous views and a great lunch. We had a really hard time finding an open restaurant with room for all of us and were a little hesitant when we were greeted by two dead pheasants on the table right inside the door, but it turned out to be a great lunch.
