A weekend of "firsts"

I think we will have our boys in bed by 7:00 tonight. We started the weekend with their first real birthday party . It was combined party for two kids at their school and the boys were in heaven with a bouncy castle, face painter, and balloon animals. Luc had his face painted as Spiderman, but Jack wouldn't hold still long enough to get his done.

Saturday Jack broke the first ornament on our tree.

This was followed by a trip to a mall I've recently discovered about 45 minutes from here and I had my first Starbucks in about a year.
The weather today was incredibly nasty, so we took the boys to their first movie in a theater. We kept talking about going to a movie, but didn't think Jack would sit still for a whole show. We went to "Bee Movie" and they did really well. Kenny and I enjoyed the movie also and the boys have been begging to see another one the rest of the day.
Not a very exciting weekend to most, but the boys loved it and I'll love having a quiet, peaceful evening tonight.

One whole year without Starbucks.....how did you survive :) The boys look so cute! I love that last yoga picture.

We tried Bee Movie too and decided Devin was too small but Cody loved it. Glad you found a Starbucks, life just isn't the same without them!
