L-O-N-G day and night

After going to Newgrange on the last day, we went back to our hotel, picked up our bags and headed to the airport. We were going to be at the airport about two hours early and should have been back in Germany around 9:30. When we got to the airport they had already delayed our flight by about 1.5 hours. We were bummed, but not too worried. The biggest problem was that Kenny had to catch a flight out of a different airport this morning to New York. Things just kept getting worse every time we checked the departure board. We never really learned why the plane was so late coming from Germany, but we finally landed in Germany around 2:30 AM and had the boys in bed around 4:00 AM. Luc slept for about 30 minutes on the plane and Jack slept for about 30 minutes in the car on the way home. They both did remarkably well considering the lack of sleep. Poor Kenny though, he got less than 2 hours of sleep and was back on his way to the airport. Luc slept until 1:00 this afternoon and I finally woke Jack up around 1:30 which is the only reason I was able to get all these posts on the blog done.

Me...tired??? No way hokey pokey.
