Trip to France with Daddy

Kenny needed to be at his plant in France for a few days, so the boys, Stella and I tagged along for the trip. We had a great time despite the rainy weather and as you can see the boys (and Stella)were worn out by the end of the trip.
Here's Jack and I brushing up on our French language and tourism. On the weekend we all headed to Vezelay which is a hill town near Chablis (of course, we had to stop there to taste and buy some wine). There were beautiful views and an impressive church where the services are sung by the nuns and monks. We were there on a Sunday so we caught the end of a service and it was beautiful. Here's a picture of Jack with the church in the background.

I got stir crazy after one day in the hotel with two boys, a dog and no car, so Kenny left me the car on Monday and Tuesday. The boys and I went hard on Monday visiting the hill town of Semur-en-Auxois, Alise Ste. Reine (where historians think Julius Caesar defeated the Gauls - I have no idea who they were), Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (where the film "Chocolat" was shot - I definitely know who Johnny Depp is, how sad is my history knowledge?) and the Abbey of Fontenay. The abbey was really beautiful and it was a good place for the boys to burn off some energy. Unfortunately, all my pictures of the boys inside the abbey were blurry, so I only have these.
