On Sunday we decided to take Luc out for an early birthday lunch. We asked him where he wanted to go but, unfortunately, we don't have a lot of choices. If we were in Seattle still he may have picked Red Robin, Chuck-E-Cheese, you know the list of family friendly restaurants. But here in Germany we have places that serve bratwurst, a couple of decent Mexican restaurants, and Luc's favorite....
The bad thing was that he was fighting a cold and right when it got time for the girls to sing him "Happy Birthday" he wanted no part of it. I could tell he was really feeling bad when he didn't even want any of the ice cream they brought him. Oh well, he's feeling better now and he will have a great story to tell about how he had his fourth birthday lunch at Hooters.
