St. Paul de Vence, Vence and Grasse, France

We spent our first full day touring the hill towns of St. Paul de Vence, Vence and Grasse. I didn't know this until we got there, but St. Paul de Vence is the second most visited place in France after the Eiffel tower. I can see why, it is a very picturesque town that has quaint restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries around every corner of it's beautiful cobblestoned streets. Lauren got some beautiful shots of the town, but I really loved the ones she got of the boys.

Grasse is the perfume capital of the area. We toured a perfume factory and put our noses to the test trying to guess different scents. A professional "nose" trains for longer than a doctor and can't drink alcohol - ever! Guess that profession is out for me. Luc loved smelling all the different scents and playing the guessing game. I loved looking at his face as he tried to get a big whiff and the concentrate on what the smell was.
