My poor little boy

We've had a couple of sickly weeks around here. Almost three weeks ago Luc was spiking a fever, had a runny nose, cough and really red eyes (you can see it a little in the Halloween pictures I posted), which I thought was unusual. He's had pink eye before and this seemed different. Then he got over it after about 3-4 days. Since it had been almost 2.5 weeks, I thought we were out of the woods as far as anyone else catching it. Then earlier this week I noticed Jack feeling warm with a drippy nose and again the really red eyes. I thought since it took a few days for Luc to beat it, it would run the same course with Jack. After two days though, he seemed to be getting worse, especially his eyes. Yesterday he woke up with his eyes matted shut so I took him to the doctor. Poor guy has bilateral ear infections, bilateral eye infections and Strep A. Both boys are now on antibiotics and I have to tackle Jack twice a day for eye and nose drops. The doc thought Luc probably already had it, but since it's so contagious with kids, he thought better be safe than sorry with the antibiotics. I was hoping that Jack would look better this morning, but as you can see he still looks pretty miserable. I feel terrible for him. Hopefully I'll have better news in a few days.

poor litte guy! He looks miserable! I hated holding down the boys for drops. They suddenly have 8 arms and become strong as superman! Good luck!

Wow, you've had your share (and then some)of illnesses! Lizzy still has a runny nose, but nothing more than when we were there! Doug got a bad cold after his trip to Singapore....but so far (fingers crossed) I've escaped. Been taking Airborne alot, so hope that is helping. Sorry to see Jack feeling so miserable. Hope he gets better soon and you don't get it!
