Ludwigsburg Pumpkin Patch


This weekend we drove down to Ludwigsburg (near Stuttgart) to check out the gardens of their schloss (castle) which was all decked out for Halloween.

The theme was "Wild West" and they sure had some creative sculptures made out of pumpkins and squash.

There was a display with probably close to 200 different varieties of squash. Most I'd never seen or heard of. Here are pictures of some of the stranger ones.
